Burmieston Members’ Day 9th August, 2025

Those attending: our host and member Oliver C.A , Bill T, Doug C, James G, ( a new member who did a Merryhill TC this year) and myself.
Oliver decided we should rebuild a section of wall, that had been mortared and was crumbling apart. We took it down and repositioned the founds, clearing out soil, weeds and roots. As usual, there was plenty of big stone requiring 2 man lifts with those wonderful hessian sacks. Reinforced with excellent refreshments, we rebuilt the section through the afternoon and finished the job copes as well. A good day’s walling .
