Disappointingly only six of the eight trainees turned up for this course. One potential trainee had a family emergency, but the other simply didn’t appear. Fortunately this has happened very rarely over the years in which I have been Training Coordinator, but given that we could have filled this course at least three times over, it is particularly disappointing on the last course of the season.

The six who did appear had a positive experience under Calum’s usual expert guidance. Robert acted as assistant supervisor and branch contact over the weekend.
