Merryhill June 2022
Eight people registered for the second training course of the season at our site at Merryhill. Unfortunately 3 had to call off at the last minute, but we still had time to find two more recruits. Another member of the group was unable to come back on the Sunday.
Merryhill has proved a valuable asset for the branch. It provides excellent facilities, including shelter in wet weather, and is set in pleasant countryside. As can be seen below the weather held fair throughout the weekend.
As always Calum was praised for his excellent instruction. ‘
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the course at the weekend. It was so good to learn a bit about this traditional skill and Calum was a great instructor.’
Thanks to Gill for her comments and photos, which show progress over the course of the weekend.
